Our restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents. Our menus are curated by Chef Patron, Tom Lawson who has a keen focus on sustainability & using the best local produce available.

We pride ourselves on offering the best dining experience possible with genuine care given to every detail. Guests can dine from either our "Taste of Riverside" menu or our set 2/3-course menu, samples of these are available below. We encourage our guests to join us in the bar 15 minutes prior to their reservation time to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. We do not relay tables to ensure our guests can relax and enjoy themselves whether joining us for lunch or dinner.


Rafters at Riverside House is the proud owner of 2 AA Rosettes and boasts three unique dining rooms. 

Our main dining room seats a maximum table of 10 guests, our Range Room is a more intimate space gaining its name from the original feature cooking "range".
The latest addition to our dining rooms is our dog friendly Garden View Snug where dogs and their owners can enjoy the full Riverside experience. 



We are excited to announce that we are now offering afternoon tea Thursday - Saturday between 12:00pm - 4:00pm. This is priced at £38.50 per person and available on a pre-booked basis only.

The perfect way to have that catch up with friends, enjoying the relaxing afternoon of the hen party before the big night out or that baby shower that you've been try to plan. We can help you have a luxurious afternoon whatever the occasion!

We are excited to be able to offer a limited number of tables to non-residents to enjoy our award-winning breakfast. Bookings can be made via our online system walk-ins also welcome


THURSDAY - SATURDAY - 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Join us to enjoy an iconic British tradition, with sandwiches, pastries and scones crafted in the Riverside House kicthen by our pastry chef John. Only £38.00 per person. Please note will only available when pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance. *We cannot cater for vegan, dairy free or egg free diets for our afternoon tea, please contact our team if you have any questions about dietary requirements before booking*


SATURDAY & SUNDAY - 12.30pm - 2:30pm
at lunch we will be serving an extended 2/3-course menu (from £45pp) (on Sundays we also serve our award-winning Roast Highland Wagyu Beef) 
Our "Taste of Riverside" tasting menu will also be available on a Saturday lunch (£95pp)
Should you wish to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in our bar, we ask you arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time


WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY - 6.30pm - 8:00pm (Friday & Saturday till 8:30pm)
at dinner we will be serving our extended 2/3-course Dinner menu (from £65pp) alongside our "Taste of Riverside" tasting menu (£95pp)
Should you wish to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in our bar, we ask you arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time

between these hours we will be open for you to join us for hot and cold drinks, cocktails, sandwhihces & scones.

Table Booking Terms & Cancellation policy

Following a high number of late cancellations and no shows we have taken the decision to introduce a deposit policy.

To secure all bookings we require a £10 per person non-refundable deposit. We do not accept provisional bookings and the deposit will be taken upon booking.

We have a 7-day cancellation policy. Inside this time deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Outside of this time deposits are transferable should the date no longer be suitable. In the event of a cancellation, at our discretion we will refund the deposit if we can resell the table.
