Weddings at The Riverside House Hotel
The hotel’s landscaped gardens offer an idyllic backdrop for your wedding day photography – Ample space for group shots, romantic vistas by the river, secluded areas for capturing more candid moments, and many beautiful viewpoints to enhance any wedding album.
* We unfortunately do not permit the use of confetti in the grounds.
Imagine if you will the perfect setting on a sleepy summer’s afternoon, with fresh strawberries, blush wine flowing, a string quartet playing quietly in the background, as the river meanders gently by.
Allow us to plan and organise your entire day, allowing you to enjoy your very special occasion.
We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies to be conducted between the hours of 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm.
The maximum number of guests for an event is thirty-two.
Daytime wedding breakfasts are available until 3.00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with guests always departing by 5.00 p.m. Wedding breakfasts are available Sunday to Thursday at any time between 2.00 pm and 8.00 pm in the evening.
Please note that our wedding functions mirror the ethos of the hotel, which is one of tranquility and calm – We regret that we do not provide or encourage evening entertainment such as music, dancing, discos or live bands – We offer a relaxing, peaceful and sophisticated experience for more discerning clientele.
Should you wish to extend your stay, this can easily be arranged, as well as exclusive use of the hotel and its facilities.
